Welcome to the Public Health Palliative Care International Academy
(previous summer school)!
From 18 – 20 October 2024, the Palliative Care and End of Life Research Group at the University of Bern will host the Academy on Public Health & Palliative Care Research in the picturesque city of Murten, Switzerland.
Junior and senior researchers/ scientists and project leaders are invited to submit abstracts for ongoing or future project. These projects will be discussed during the three days of the academy. Our purpose is to derive emerging topics, methods and open questions for future activities in research and education in field of public health and palliative care. International experts will provide lectures in regard of own lessons learned, critical reflection and state of the art research in one of the main research areas mentioned above.
Submitted abstracts will be matched with the expertise around the table and each selected project will be discussed during an interactive workshop. Open discussions will highlight emerging topics from both, the plenary lectures and the interactive workshops.
